Masonry Wrapped Cisterns
Advantages:
- Masonry wrap can be applied to any cistern
- Can completely change the look of your cistern
- A roof structure is optional but it can help to complete the look
- Wrap provides polyethylene tanks complete protection from any UV sunlight degradation
Disadvantages:
- The material and labor to wrap a cistern will increase the total cost of the rainwater collection system but the collection efficiency will stay the same
- Masonry wrap requires a concrete footer to be poured around the tank
