Gutters Protect Your Home’s Foundation From Erosion and Drainage Issues

Let’s get straight to it…

What do you want from a gutter installation company?

  • Free estimate
  • On time consultation and installation scheduling
  • Affordable price
  • Friendly, no hassle service

  • And finally, an installed gutter system that is attractive but works to solve your roof runoff issues

That’s pretty much it.

So that is exactly what we provide at Innovative Water Solutions LLC through our sister company, Advanced Rain Gutter Systems.

The Case for Seamless Ogee Gutters

Currently we only offer the installation of 5″ and 6″ seamless Ogee-style gutters.  Why is that?  Well for one reason, there are specific machines that create seamless gutters for each different shape of gutter… and we don’t have each and every gutter shape machine out there.

In case you’re wondering… Ogee-style is also called K-style gutters.

But there are many more important reasons to offer seamless Ogee-style gutter as the “chosen one”…

  • Ogee gutters are the most common type of gutter used in the market.  Look around your neighborhood… most likely 90% of your neighbors have Ogee style gutters.
  • Ogee gutters are the least costly gutter option (per foot) when compared to other shapes such as box or half-round gutters.
  • The Ogee shape flows more rainwater than half-round gutters.
  • They do a better job of standing up to water pressure, winds, and other stresses without bending or protruding.

Three Reasons Why Your Home Needs Gutters

Foundation Issues

The contraction and expansion of the clay soils in Central Texas (also called “shrink-swell”) is one of the main reasons for concrete slab failure. After rainy weather, the soil around the perimeter of your home’s foundation expands as it becomes saturated with rainwater. A dry period following the rain can cause that soil to contract. As this is repeated over time, the support to the foundation can be compromised leading to cracked foundation and masonry.

Staining of Masonry & Siding

Rainwater falling off a roof edge that doesn’t have a gutter will hit the ground and cause “splash-back”. This splash-back consists of soil and minerals that end up on the exterior of your home. Over a period of time, a stain can appear on the masonry or siding that can be difficult to remove or hide.

Damage to Landscaping

Plants, flowers, mulch and soil located under the drip line of a roof can suffer from the force of the runoff falling the height of the roof edge. In addition, this runoff can result in an over-saturation of the soil in the landscape areas which could permit harmful fungus to develop as well as attract ants, roaches and termites.

Considering gutter installation? Why not install a Rainwater Collection System?

After the gutters are installed, you are nearly halfway there with a complete rainwater catchment system.

We provide complete, turn-key systems which includes gutter installation. If you are considering gutter installation, why not think about collecting your rainwater.

We know how the process of searching for the right contractor can be burdensome and time consuming. We want to make it easy on you. Therefore, we take care of the gutter installation estimate and rainwater harvesting system estimate during the same consultation.

We provide a full suite of services for rainwater harvesting systems, depending on your exact need or phase of development.  We are rainwater system engineers that offer system design but we are also “rainwater system general contractors”.

What are the Benefits of Rainwater Harvesting?

  • Rainwater is essentially FREE; once the capital cost of the collection system infrastructure is paid for, you will harvest free water.
  • Rainwater harvesting is socially acceptable and environmentally responsible since it promotes self-sufficiency and helps conserve water.
  • Rainwater harvesting reduces your municipal water consumption and thus your water bill.
  • Rainwater can be used as a main source of water or as a back-up source to wells and municipal water.  It can also be very helpful in times of emergencies.
  • Rainwater harvesting can allow you to have total control over your water supply (ideal for cities with water restrictions).
  • Rainwater harvesting systems can be easily retrofitted to an existing structure or built during new home construction. They are very flexible and modular in nature, allowing expansion, reconfiguration, or relocation.
  • Rainwater is the best water source for landscape irrigation due to the lack of chlorine and other treatment chemicals.
  • Rainwater harvesting reduces the frequency and intensity of flooding around your house or property.
  • Since the use of the harvested water is located close to the collection source, this reduces the energy use required to move water around our cities.
  • Rainwater harvesting can reduce stormwater pollution, lessening its impact on our local watersheds.
