Where it all began…

March 19, 2004

Back in March 2004, Blake and Chris had an idea to start a company that would focus on promoting the practice of rainwater harvesting. Since they met during their Peace Corps experience, where they lived on harvested rainwater for their drinking and cooking needs, they wanted to extend the lessons they learned in Peace Corps about water conservation and surviving on the rainfall that falls on your own roof.

So in March 2004, they booked a booth at the Home & Garden Show in Austin and put together materials for their booth. It was a success though, with their first rainwater harvesting job coming out of the show. They are very grateful for their small beginnings which taught them many lessons.
