VIDEO: Installing a 20,000 gallon rainwater catchment system

November 22, 2008

Here’s a fun video showing how Innovative Water Solutions installs two 10,000 gallon fiberglass cisterns in a rainwater collection system that will be the drinking water supply. These cisterns have been painted to match the barn.

The collection area for this rainwater collection system is approximately 5000 square feet. Therefore, it would require about 6 1/2 inches of rain to fill the tanks (a total of 20,000 gallons).
