#FirstWorldProblems is a hashtag that has gone viral recently with the addition of this video to the meme and it is making people mad. The #FirstWorldProblems initiative was created for WATERisLIFE, a non-profit organization addressing the lack of clean water for people around the world. People say that this video, by using the #FirstWorldProblems hashtag, reveals a lack of sensitivity or awareness about serious social and health concerns and the ways that social media users can help alleviate real problems.

Really?? I think this video is great since it points out the trivial things in our #FirstWorldLives and puts them into context. I think everyone needs a reality check every now-and-then, but this is coming from someone who served in the Peace Corps, living 2 years in the Surinamese rainforest, without electricity or running water.
