Roxanne Beck

Roxanne was born outside Sacramento California, but grew up here in Austin Texas. After graduating with honors from Westwood High School she attended St. Edward’s University, where she studied business and marketing. She then spent several years beachside in Santa Cruz California before finding her passion for herbalism and native plants. This led her to pursue a diploma in Western Herbalism from The Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe Arizona. She is passionate about native remedies and plant allies, and believes we should always be learning.

While living in the desert of Arizona she recognized the importance of utilizing every drop of water, and was inspired by the wildlife and its many ways of adapting.

Roxanne enjoys hiking, camping, swimming, gardening, crocheting, reading and writing in her spare time. She hopes one day to live a self-sufficient, sustainable life on her own homestead.
